Darl Hatfield – Chairman

Darl Hatfield is also a founding partner of Lucidity and currently serves as its Chairman. Since Lucidity’s inception, Darl has had primary responsibility for the overall financial plans and policies and the conduct of the company’s relationship with the financial community. As Chairman, Darl continues to provide support to the financial aspects and strategic business direction of the company.

Prior to joining Lucidity, Darl was senior vice president and chief financial officer of Adams Golf. In that position Darl provided financial leadership in a successful initial public offering and in the development of all administrative infrastructure and processes to support investor relations and public company reporting requirements.

Darl began his career with KPMG after graduating from Drake University in 1968. He was promoted to partner in 1977 and held various positions within the audit group primarily working in the real estate and retail industries. Darl retired in 1998 and during his last four years with KPMG served as the national director of the firm’s Restaurant Industry Practice. During his career Darl has been active in a number of charitable and professional organizations and has served on the board of Junior Achievement, National Alumni Association of Drake University, Iowa Governors’ Council for Sports and the State Society of Certified Public Accountants. He and his wife have three grown children and eight grandchildren and they spend considerable time supporting their many activities. Darl is an avid golfer, cyclist and runner.
